“Free two months job oriented training with stipend scheme launched by government of india” The National Skill Development Corporation India (NSDC) is a one of its kind, Public Private Partnership in India. It aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality, for-profit vocational institutions. It provides funding to build scalable, for-profit vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support systems such as quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. Each has a clear-cut role in the NSDC’s operations, activities and strategy to facilitate the organisation’s mandate of coordinating and stimulating private sector skill development programmes with enhanced flexibility and effectiveness.

The 14-member board has five government nominees, one of whom is the chairman of the corporation (from the private sector) and nine are private sector members. The NSDF is a 100% government-owned trust that invests in the NSDC, and is run by professional fund managers.
National Skill Certification and Reward Scheme branded as the STAR (Standard Training Assessment & Reward) Scheme has been formulated to encourage skill development for youth by providing monetary rewards for successful completion of approved training programs. It aims to increase productivity of the existing workforce and align the training and certification to the needs of the country, provide Monetary Awards for Skill Certification to boost employability and productivity of youth by incentivizing them for skill trainings,reward candidates undergoing skill training by authorized institutions at an average monetary reward of Rs.10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand) per candidate, benefit 10 lakh youth at an approximate total cost of Rs.1,000 Crores. The scheme was first proposed by the Finance Minister in the last Union Budget to allocate Rs 1,000 crore for a scheme that will motivate the youth of this country to acquire a vocational skill. The scheme that is branded as STAR (Standard Training Assessment and Reward) for promotional purposes envisages that a monetary reward that will in financially help those who wish to acquire a new skill or upgrade their skills to a higher level.
The skill development scheme will be implemented by NSDC. The monetary reward is strictly depended on obtaining a certificate that will be issued by qualified assessors after necessary tests have been passed. The skills are also benchmarked to National Occupational Standards that have been developed by NSDC with the support of the Sector Skill Councils. Trainee Associate: Individuals in this position interact with customers to understand customer needs and service them by effecting sales of relevant products. Individuals in this position display merchandise and interact with customers to understand their needs to service them with sales of relevant product offerings whilst working cordially within the team and retail organization. The individual needs to be physically fit to withstand working in a retail environment whilst being customer responsive. They would need good interpersonal and listening skills.

Sales Associate: Individuals in this position interact with customers to understand and service customer needs with specialization leading to maximization of business in a retail environment. Individuals in this position interact with customers by giving specialized service and product demonstrations to maximise business in a retail environment whilst striving for continous improvements in levels of services rendered. The individual needs to be physically fit to withstand working in a retail environment whilst being customer responsive. They need to have excellent product knowledge, interpersonal and listening skills.
